Laurel Auto Group defeats Berkley Hills Renegades 5-1

Derrick Zavatsky went 2-3, helping Laurel Auto Group to a 5-1 victory over Berkley Hills Renegades on Friday at Point Stadium.
He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Sean Thompson got the win for Laurel Auto Group thanks to nine strikeouts. Thompson allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over seven innings.

Noah Smith took the loss for Berkley Hills Renegades. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

In the second inning, Berkley Hills Renegades pushed across its only run of the day on an RBI triple by J Jones.

The game was never in doubt after the fifth, as Laurel Auto Group scored two runs on an RBI double by Nathan Mori and an RBI single by Ben Webb.
