LAG Baseball AAABA VS. Martella’s, June 14, 2018

Laurel Auto Group AAABA lost the lead late in a 6-3 defeat to Martella’s Pharmacy on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Martella’s Pharmacy batting in the bottom of the sixth when Kutchman singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

In the first inning, Martella’s Pharmacy got their offense started. Ward singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Laurel Auto Group AAABA evened things up at three in the top of the fifth inning. Laurel Auto Group AAABA scored two runs when Hunter Treece singled.

Laurel Auto Group AAABA tallied three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Laurel Auto Group AAABA was led by Casey Winters and Treece, who all drove in runs.

Mulhollen took the win for Martella’s Pharmacy. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Kailen Grimm and Treece each collected one hit to lead Laurel Auto Group AAABA. Martella’s Pharmacy tallied ten hits on the day. Walker, Kutchman, and Ward all had multiple hits for Martella’s Pharmacy.
