Zac Heide gives Laurel Auto Group late push to beat Martella’s Pharmacy, 3-2

Zac Heide brought home the winning run to give Laurel Auto Group the lead in the sixth inning, as Laurel Auto Group hung on to beat Martella’s Pharmacy 3-2 on Wednesday.
With the score tied at two, Heide came to the plate and, bringing home Nick Vento.

Collin Laguzza got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He pitched two shutout innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Supanick was the game’s losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed two runs.

Martella’s Pharmacy jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. The scoreboard lit up again for Martella’s Pharmacy when Morrow scored on an RBI single by Luke Williams.

The lead was Laurel Auto Group’s to lose after sixth inning. More runs came home on.
