Laurel Auto Group beat Paul’s Renegades on Sunday 11-1 in eight innings.

Laurel Auto Group scored four runs in the seventh on Laurel Auto Group scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Ryan Wardropper, an RBI single by Alex DiRienzo, a wild pitch, and a groundout by Michael Van Lenten.

Zac Heide had two extra-base hits for Laurel Auto Group. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Matt Douglas picked up the win for Laurel Auto Group. Douglas allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Laurel Auto Group’s Heide, Luke Smeltz and Cory Wheeler combined for seven hits and three RBIs.

Don McWreath was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out seven.

The lead stayed with Laurel Auto Group after the first, when it scored one run on an RBI double by Heide.

Laurel Auto Group scored one run in each of the second, third and eighth. In the second, Laurel Auto Group scored on a fielder’s choice, plating Smeltz.

Laurel Auto Group added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Nico Pecora singled, scoring Van Lenten to start the inning.
