Ophthalmic Associates outdone by Logan Urtz and Laurel Auto Group, 8-3

Logan Urtz had two extra base hits, helping Laurel Auto Group to an 8-3 victory over Ophthalmic Associates on Tuesday at Point Stadium.
He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Matt Kochasic got the win for Laurel Auto Group. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Laurel Auto Group was sparked by Logan and Nathan Mori, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.

Black was the game’s losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out none.

Laurel Auto Group never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on an RBI single by Ben Webb.

Laurel Auto Group added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Nathan started the inning with a double, scoring Collin Laguzza.

Three runs in the top of the sixth helped Ophthalmic Associates close its deficit to 5-3. An RBI double by Keenan and a two-run double by Fluke gave Ophthalmic Associates life. But, Matt Kochasic got Bracken to ground out to end the inning.
