Martella’s Pharmacy 8, Laurel Auto Group 0: At Point Stadium, Tony Strasiser belted a two-run home run in the first inning to send Martella’s Pharmacy on its way to victory.

Jordan Giannini went 3-for-4 with a single, double and triple and scored three runs for Martella’s while teammate Jesse Cooper had two hits, a double and scored a run.

Derrick Zavatsky tripled and Jesse Bortner singled for Laurel’s only hits.

Ophthalmic Associates 3, First Commonwealth 0: At Roxbury Park, Ophthalmic Associates pitcher Joe Glass allowed four hits in the Wednesday night shutout of First Commonwealth.

Cameron Kaminsky walked with two outs and Brandon Miller followed him with a two-run home run to left. Miller crossed the plate again in the fourth after Ryan Vogt doubled him home.

First Commonwealth pitcher Chris Horten allowed three hits on the night, but still took the loss.

American Legion

Claysburg 4, Portage 2: In Portage, Claysburg catcher Mike Mock homered Thursday night to help lead Claysburg to victory over Portage.

Mike Runk had two hits and scored another run for Claysburg. Austin Cunnigham followed suit with two hits and one run scored.

Nick Usry had two hits for Portage and also scored one of Portage’s two runs.

Patton 8, St. Michael 3: In Sidman, Josh Prasko took a complete-game victory with seven strikeouts and no walks and Dom Milanesi had three hits and three RBI for the Redmen.

Joe Dlish, Cody Baker and Prasko had two hits and two runs each while Joe Donoughe and Ryan Wilson had two hits each for St. Michael.

Bedford 5, Lilly 4: In Lilly, Kody Blevins had three hits, three runs and a triple in Lilly on Thursday.

Isaac Klilne went 2-for-3 with one run scored.

Kline also hit the game-winning RBI. Kyle Droz had two RBI and had two hits on four at-bats for Bedford.

Lilly’s Josh Vinglish went 1-for-3 and had two RBI.

Somerset 7, Cernic’s 6: In Somerset, Austin Clawson took the win for Somerset and also hit the game-winning RBI. Brenden Bowser went 2-for-2 with one double. Zac Cooney also had two hits and added two RBI to his stats.

Lilly’s five hits were dispersed throughout its lineup.

Richland 4, Ebensburg 1: Richland’s Ryan Orlovsky and Ebensburg’s John Grimes each pitched complete games, but Orlovsky received more run support in the Richland victory.

Nick D’Ambrosia went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Ryan Onderko added a run-scoring double in support of Orlovsky, who struck out seven and pitched a three-hitter.

Grimes scatted four hits and Troy Templeton doubled for Ebensburg.
