Laurel Auto Group seize victory thanks to late double, drop Altoona Ketrow Insurance 11-6

Laurel Auto Group and Altoona Ketrow Insurance passed the lead back and forth five times on Saturday at Juniata, but in the end Laurel Auto Group pulled out an 11-6 win in seven innings over Altoona Ketrow Insurance.

Laurel Auto Group pulled out the win thanks to a strong sixth inning. Laurel Auto Group went up for good on an RBI double by Zac Heide off Lingafelt, bringing home Nathan Mori.

Logan Urtz racked up two RBIs on three hits for Laurel Auto Group. He singled in the second and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Patrick Boyer shut down Altoona Ketrow Insurance while he was on the hill. Altoona Ketrow Insurance managed just two hits off of Boyer, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Even though Mike Nowicki allowed six runs over 3 1/3 innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Lingafelt was charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The top of the second saw Laurel Auto Group take an early lead, 3-0. Logan started the rally for Laurel Auto Group with a single. An error then moved Logan from first to third. Laurel Auto Group pushed more runs across when Thompson scored on an RBI single by Danny Clark and Zavatsky scored on an RBI double by Nathan.
