Laurel Auto Group Pony VS. PNA, May 25, 2018

Laurel Auto Group PONY watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-0 loss to PNA on Friday. PNA scored on a single by Little and an error in the first inning.

The Laurel Auto Group PONY struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing PNA, giving up 11 runs. PNA got on the board in the first inning when Little singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Laurel Auto Group PONY was a single by Dan Blanchetti in the first inning.

Nicodemus got the start for PNA. He allowed three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Josh Blanchetti led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Laurel Auto Group PONY. He lasted two innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out three and walking zero. Andrew Miko and Blanchetti entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Blanchetti, Blanchetti, and Isaac Jubina each collected one hit to lead Laurel Auto Group PONY.

PNA racked up 13 hits on the day. Kalp, Whysong, Nicodemus, Lankey, and Masorjak all collected multiple hits for PNA. Kalp led PNA with three hits in three at bats. PNA stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Wyandt led the way with two. PNA didn’t commit a single error in the field. Irvin had the most chances in the field with eight.
