Laurel Auto Group makes the most of 2 hits in 2-1 victory over First Commonwealth

Both Laurel Auto Group and First Commonwealth put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was Laurel Auto Group that was able to take advantage, pulling out a 2-1 win at Roxbury Park.

First Commonwealth out-hit Laurel Auto Group four to two, but First Commonwealth stranded six runners on base.

The fact that Laurel Auto Group grouped all of its runs into the sixth inning helped it take advantage of its hits.

Matt Kochasic handled First Commonwealth’s lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Laurel Auto Group’s pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.
