Laurel Auto Group jumped out to an early lead on Ophthalmic Associates and captured a 12-1 victory on Tuesday at Roxbury Park.
The game was decided quickly as Laurel Auto Group exerted its will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Mike Nowicki, , an error, a two-run double by Nathan Mori, a two-run double by Zac Heide, an RBI double by Logan Urtz, an RBI single by Gordon Barr, and an RBI single by Jon White during the second inning supplied the early offense for Laurel Auto Group.
Ben Webb went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for Laurel Auto Group. He singled in the first, second, third, and fifth innings.
Logan kept contact to a minimum, striking out four Ophthalmic Associates batters. Logan allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over five innings.
Black took the loss for Ophthalmic Associates. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked none and struck out none.
Laurel Auto Group tacked on another two runs in the fifth. Collin Laguzza started the inning with a solo home run.
