Laurel Auto Group drubs Ophthalmic Associates, 11-2

Ophthalmic Associates didn’t have a chance on Monday, as Laurel Auto Group won in blowout fashion, 11-2 in seven innings at Point Stadium.

Fluke couldn’t get it done on the hill for Ophthalmic Associates, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Laurel Auto Group didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the first inning when it scored on an error and two singles.

It didn’t take long for Laurel Auto Group to answer as it scored two runs of its own in the second. Laurel Auto Group scored on an RBI single by Ben Webb and a sacrifice fly by Zac Heide.

Laurel Auto Group survived Ophthalmic Associates’ surge and put up one run of its own in the third. Laurel Auto Group scored on a groundout by Jon.
