Nick Vento drove in three runs, helping Laurel Auto Group to a 5-2 victory over Delweld on Thursday at Point Stadium.
He singled in the seventh inning.
Matt Kochasic recorded the win for Laurel Auto Group. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered six hits.
Didiano was charged with the loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
Laurel Auto Group went up for good in the third, scoring three runs on an error, a groundout by Nick Vento, and an RBI single by Ben Webb.
Delweld got one-run rallies in the third inning and the fourth. In the third, Delweld scored on an RBI single by Helsel, plating Stull.
One run in the bottom of the fourth helped Delweld close its deficit to 3-2. A wild pitch sparked Delweld’s rally. Finally, Matt got Weyant to fly out to end the threat.
