Laurel Auto Group cruises past First Commonwealth, 7-1

Laurel Auto Group pounded First Commonwealth on Monday 7-1 at Point Stadium in seven innings.

Ben Webb racked up two RBIs on one hit for Laurel Auto Group. He homered in the fifth inning.

Sean Thompson’s nine strikeouts helped Laurel Auto Group to the victory. Laurel Auto Group’s pitcher gave up just two hits over five shutout innings.

Nickle couldn’t get it done on the hill for First Commonwealth, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out one.

The lead stayed with Laurel Auto Group after the second, when it scored two runs on a two-run single by Mike Nowicki.

Laurel Auto Group matched its two-run third inning with two more in the fifth. In the third, Laurel Auto Group scored on an RBI double by Zac Heide, scoring Nathan Mori.

Laurel Auto Group quickly matched First Commonwealth’s strong inning with a one-run inning of its own in the sixth. Laurel Auto Group scored on an RBI double by Collin Laguzza.
