Despite Strong Fight, Laurel Auto Group AAABA Can’t Top Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors

Despite a 7-run deficit in the fourth inning, Laurel Auto Group AAABA almost came all the way back, eventually falling 8-7 to Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors on Wednesday. Laurel Auto Group AAABA scored six runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Zachary Wiggins in the fourth, a fielder’s choice by Casey Winters in the fifth, a single by Ejiro Ogagon in the sixth, a single by Jake Swank in the sixth, and a groundout by Chase Smith in the sixth.

Laurel Auto Group AAABA fell behind early in the loss. Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors scored on a single by C. Fogel and a home run by Beranek in the first inning.

Hunter Treece took the loss for Laurel Auto Group AAABA. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out nine.

Laurel Auto Group AAABA tallied ten hits on the day. Swank and Winters all managed multiple hits for Laurel Auto Group AAABA. Swank led Laurel Auto Group AAABA with three hits in three at bats. Laurel Auto Group AAABA was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Caleb Smith had the most chances in the field with ten.

M. Privette went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors in hits.
