Laurel Auto Group AAABA Early Lead Over PCCA Sets Stage For Victory in Game 2 of Double Header, June 6, 2018

Laurel Auto Group AAABA grabbed an early lead on its way to a 6-4 victory over Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors on Wednesday. Laurel Auto Group AAABA scored on a single by Caleb Smith, a walk by Kailen Grimm, a walk by Zachary Wiggins, and a fielder’s choice by Hunter Treece in the second inning.

Laurel Auto Group AAABA pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Smith singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Grimm drew a walk, scoring one run, Wiggins drew a walk, scoring one run, and Hallested induced Treece to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Nick Lagnese earned the victory on the hill for Laurel Auto Group AAABA. He surrendered four runs on six hits over five and a third innings, striking out four. Julius Thomas III threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

M. Monko took the loss for Paul Carpenter Capital Advisors. He lasted one inning, allowing one hit and five runs.
