Hot bat leads Laurel Auto Group past First Commonwealth 9-3

An excellent effort by Zac Heide led Laurel Auto Group to a 9-3 win in seven innings over First Commonwealth on Tuesday at Roxbury Park.

Zac hit two home runs for Laurel Auto Group. Zac went 2-3 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Zac homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

Laurel Auto Group blew out First Commonwealth thanks to nine hits, including three extra base hits. Laurel Auto Group scored four runs in the fourth on Laurel Auto Group scored in the fourth on a groundout by Nathan Mori, an RBI single by Ben Webb, an error, and a solo home run by Zac.

Laurel Auto Group hit three home runs in the win. Additional home runs for Laurel Auto Group came when Danny Clark homered in the first inning and Zac homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

Logan Urtz got the win for Laurel Auto Group. He pitched five shutout innings. Logan struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.

Hebal ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
