Laurel Auto Group PONY Can’t Catch Up To 1st Summit

Laurel Auto Group PONY fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-3 loss to 1st Summit on Wednesday. 1st Summit took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The Laurel Auto Group PONY struggled to contain the high-powered offense of 1st Summit, giving up 11 runs.

In the first inning, 1st Summit got their offense started when Corcoran singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
1st Summit scored three runs in the seventh inning. The offensive firepower by 1st Summit was led by Beyer, Rozich, and Kist, all driving in runs in the frame.

Mulkey toed the rubber for 1st Summit. He surrendered three runs on three hits over three innings, striking out one.

Dan Blanchetti was on the hill for Laurel Auto Group PONY. He allowed five hits and four runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one. Andrew Miko and Josh Blanchetti entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and two innings respectively.
