Laurel Auto Group musters more hits but falls 8-4 to Berkley Hills Renegades

Laurel Auto Group lost 8-4 in seven innings at Roxbury Park on Tuesday, despite outhitting Berkley Hills Renegades 12 to 11.

Mike Nowicki paced Laurel Auto Group at the plate. Mike went 4-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first, sixth, and seventh innings.

T Smith recorded the win for Berkley Hills Renegades. He allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings. T struck out four, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Berkley Hills Renegades’ McGraft, R Jones and Price combined for six hits and four RBIs.

Sean Thompson couldn’t get it done on the rubber for Laurel Auto Group, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out six.

Laurel Auto Group tied the game in the third on an RBI single by Logan Urtz that scored Mike.

Berkley Hills Renegades stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring five runs on a groundout by Marabito and three singles.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Laurel Auto Group faced just a 8-2 deficit. An RBI single by Logan gave Laurel Auto Group life. Berkley Hills Renegades stopped the rally after Bob Gaston got Collin Laguzza to.
