Laurel Auto Group drops 3-2 game to Berkley Hills Renegades despite efforts of Danny Clark

Danny Clark did all he could to give Laurel Auto Group a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Berkley Hills Renegades, as Laurel Auto Group lost 3-2 in seven innings at Point Stadium on Monday.

Danny put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Laurel Auto Group. He doubled in the first and fifth innings.

Noah Smith got the win for Berkley Hills Renegades. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Nick Kolat couldn’t get it done on the bump for Laurel Auto Group, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed three runs.

Laurel Auto Group jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Danny kicked things off for Laurel Auto Group with a double. A single by Ben Webb then moved Danny from second to third. Danny then stole home.

The lead stayed with Berkley Hills Renegades after the second, when it scored two runs on an RBI single by McGraft and an RBI triple by Droz.

A one-run fifth inning helped bring Laurel Auto Group within one. An RBI single by Mike Nowicki gave Laurel Auto Group life. The Laurel Auto Group threat came to an end when Noah finally got Ben to fly out.
