Fourth-inning rally sparks win for Laurel Auto Group, 8-2

Group came when Ryan Wardropper homered in the fourth inning, Austin Sleek homered in the fourth inning, and Zac Heide homered in the fifth inning.

Heide put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Laurel Auto Group. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Matt Douglas recorded the win for Laurel Auto Group. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Laurel Auto Group’s Heide, Sleek, Luke Smeltz and Wardropper combined for six hits and six RBIs.

Ryan Robinette was the game’s losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out four.

Laurel Auto Group added two more runs in the top of the fifth. Heide homered to start the inning. That was followed up by Alex DiRienzo‘s single, bringing home Smeltz.
